I have a USB dongle for cellSens - what's the latest version I can run?

The last version of cellSens to support the USB dongle license is 1.6. Please fill out our microscope techncial support form to if you would like to request an upgrade to Version 1.6.

What versions of cellSens are supported in Windows 10?

cellSens version 1.15 or greater supports Windows 10 operating environments.

Windows 10 compatibility starts with Stream version 2.2 and up. If you have Stream 2.1, you may upgrade to 2.2 free of charge. Can I upgrade Stream from hardware license to a soft license?

Yes, we continue to offer Stream upgrades from a hardware (USB Dongle) license to a soft license. A soft license is specific to one PC installation. Contact your local Olympus Industrial Microscopy sales rep .

What is the last build of cellSens/Stream that supports the DP70, DP71 and DP25?

1.16 for cellSens and 2.2 for Stream, however, these cameras are not supported in Windows 10 operating environment.

What is the correct firewire driver for the DP21 and DP26?

In your computer's device manager, go to the driver properties of your IEEE 1394 device and select 'Update Driver'. Then select to 'Browse my computer'. On the next screen, choose 'Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer'. Next, choose the OLYMPUS MICROSCOPE 1394 DIGITAL CAMERA SYSTEM and select 'Next'. Is there an easy way to save my microscope configuration in cellSens?

Yes, in the cellsens program go to: Acquire>Devices>Device Settings and click on the floppy disc icon.

Is there an easy way to save my microscope configuration in Stream?

Yes, in the Stream program go to: Acquire>Devices>Create System Restore Points. Follow prompts to save configurations.
